The Challenge!

In order to meet the rapid growth and expansion of the organization, the company's existing MES system is no longer suitable. Because the old system is relatively outdated and cannot support new operational processes, nor can it connect with machinery to collect data accurately.

ciMES Module

  1. Work in process (WIP)

  1. Materials Management System (MMS)

  1. Quality Control (QC) & Statistical Process Control (SPC)

  1. Preventive Management (PM) & Tooling

  1. Web Report and Dashboard

  1. Carrier Management System (CMS)

  1. Label Management System (LMS)

  1. ERP Intergration (Linked with current ERP system)

After using ciMES

  1. Reduce customer complaints in delivery and decrease employee production hours.

  1. Modernize the connection of production stations with the ciMES system to accelerate production cycles for greater efficiency.

  1. Ensure that material and machinery names are appropriately matched to maximize machine performance.

  1. Collect product production data for tracking and managing production history.

  1. The ciMES system has a consulting team capable of assisting in the integration of old machinery with the new system.

The ciMES system consolidates the workflow of production line data, allowing managers to assess production lead times through the input of job order data. This make production cycle and simplifies processes.

Furthermore, the ciMES system establishes standardized work procedures for use in automated production lines and meets current customer demands by enhancing process improvements and flexible program configurations. It collects detailed product-specific data, accommodating variations in production size and other industry-specific characteristics.

Label Management (LMS) Help reduce customer complaints and decrease production lead times in delivery.

The old MES system of KINSUS had to transfer data to various systems on its own, and the production data at each step could be checked but was not guaranteed to be accurate. After implementing the ciMES system, the Label Management (LMS) module can define and design data according to the company's standards, customer requirements, and production history.

The ciMES system manages label data precisely, pulling data from WIP module during the production process to record detailed production data at each step. This reduce the need for additional customization, and the Label Management (LMS) can assist in the following ways:

  • Clear delegation of tasks, workforce management, and control over employee work schedules.

  • Reduces production time, simplifies processes, and prevents labeling process errors.

  • Significantly reduces customer complaints.

  • Detailed production history tracking available at every step.

The ciMES system : Revolutionizes automated management guidelines

  1. Establishing Process Management: Combining frequently used tasks into sub-processes to efficiently control product codes, and these sub-process modules can create all production processes to reduce the complexity often encountered in switchboard manufacturing.

  1. Identify Equipment and Resources (Equipment Identification; EQP ID): Naming and specifying processing resources consistently. The ciMES system will assign names based on equipment settings and create production and equipment parameters to enhance the efficiency of production and processing processes.

  1. Importing Lot Identification Management Unit: Specifying product information in storage units, such as WO (Working Order) from the order level down to the Lot level. Subsequently, Lot ID is used to identify product code changes or other special production processes, facilitating continuous tracking and management. Other data systems will have compatible platforms for system integration and accurate operation.

This above-mentioned management technique has greatly benefited KINSUS. Furthermore, working through the ciMES system will lead the company towards the goal of full-fledged automation and smart manufacturing.
