The Challenge!   

The requirement to change ERP system of Yeou Yih Steel Company to enhance operational efficiency and market acceptance both domestically and internationally is as follows: 

  • Preparing for entry into the stock market (IPO) requires financial documents that comply with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

  • The current ERP system has limited workflow capabilities and cannot connect data across various departments. As a result, the data is not displayed in real-time, make difficult for management to check the information promptly. 

  • Unable to allocate costs accurately in each project, resulting in an imbalance. 

  • The accounting department faces issues in closing accounts. 

  • Often found human error because of manual data entry tasks. 

  • Supervisors cannot effectively manage their employees' work. 

  • The manufacturing process involves diverse processes, and the old system cannot record production history. This makes it difficult to track and address past issues. 

  • Lack of control secondary Material and waste materials.

  1. Production - From material preparation to manufacturing, process control, and cost tracking, they can manage production orders (WO) and work-in-progress (WIP) in real-time. 

  1. Product Resume - Data is connected through QR codes, allowing tracking of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and production standards. This data can create a product history for comprehensive backward reference. 

  1. The system was implemented, and employees were trained to use it in just six months.
